When is the best time to visit the Red Sea?
Water temperatures, visibility, crowds and prices, month by month — so you can pick the perfect window for your trip.
The Red Sea is a year-round destination, but each season has a different character.
March–May & September–November
Our favourite months: warm water (24–28°C), gentle winds and fewer crowds.
June–August
Peak heat and the warmest water (up to 30°C). Start early — our trips depart in the cool of the morning.
December–February
Cooler water (22–23°C) and occasional wind, but great visibility and quiet reefs. A light wetsuit helps.
