What to pack for a Red Sea boat day (and what to leave behind)

Bring
Swimwear (wear it under your clothes), a towel, sunglasses, a hat with a strap and reef-safe sunscreen. A light long-sleeve top is the best sun protection on deck.
The one thing everyone forgets: a dry bag or zip pouch for your phone.
Leave behind
Snorkel gear, life jackets, lunch and drinks are all on board. Leave valuables in the hotel safe and bring a little cash for optional photos or tips.
